We are holding a 4 day series of events on:
Friday 1st June; Saturday 2nd June; Sunday 3rd June; Monday 4th June
The Quinton Diamond Jubilee Committee are dedicated to running an event fit for the Queen and for every villager (and their friends and family) to enjoy a weekend together of celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and to celebrate living in such a fantastic location with some fantastic neighbours.
Everyone is welcome to attend as many or as few events as they wish. We also welcome your feedback or input about the event.

Auction of Talents Fundraiser at The College Arms
Friday 30th March 2011
An evening at the College Arms which will be a fundraiser for the 4 day event in June. We are also looking for talents that can be auctioned off!
Friday Evening – 19.30 to Midnight in the Village Hall
Quinton’s Got Talent
Evening of entertainment “X Factor Style” look out for information coming through your door soon!
Saturday Afternoon – 14.00 to 17.00 on the Playing Field
Tractor Pull for Adults and Children
5 a side Football Tournament for Children
Food & Beverage
Saturday Evening 19.30 to Midnight in the Village Hall
“The Queens” Horse Racing Night
Experience the thrill of race night. Fish and chip supper provided in ticket cost.
Why not dress up - prizes to be won
Sunday 12:30pm-5pm – Lunch & Fete on the Playing Field
“Village Lunch” Families can bring their own lunch or why not indulge in the pig roast!
Afternoon of Games Food & Fun
It’s A Knockout Competition – we are looking for 6 teams of 10 people to take part in the it’s a knockout competition – get your neighbours together and put your very own team in. Book your team’s place now to avoid disappointment!
Sunday Evening on Lower Quinton Green at the College Arms 6pm-11pm
Chinese Food
Dog Show, Aunt Sally, Childrens Games and much much more!!!
Monday 10am-5pm
Games Day
6 a side Cricket Competition for the adults on the Playing field
Children’s Games, crafts and activities – Indoor Games and Bouncy Castle in the Village Hall
Monday Grand Finale - Evening Dance 7pm-12pm – Free for All to Attend
Band from 8pm-10pm, Disco from 10pm-12pm
Queens Beacon will be lit at 10pm followed by fireworks.
