Do you want faster broadband?

Warwickshire County Council with Solihull and Coventry Councils have been allocated over £4m to help improve broadband connectivity. This money, match-funded by the local authority with considerably more from the private sector – will be used to achieve speeds of at least 2Mbps and 90% of properties with at least 24Mbps by the end of 2015.

Faster broadband will change our lives – working from home; health and care facilities to help people stay in there own home for longer; less business travel (using cloud computing); and many more technological advances – but only if your connection is fast enough!

To encourage business to invest we need to show that there'll be a return on their money, and that we'll actually use it! To help us do that please complete one of two surveys, either business or residential. However, if you work from home and want the faster speeds, please complete both surveys! Click here for the surveys

We also need local Champions to promote the project and encourage others to sign up (resources provided). If this is of interest or you have any other questions,
please email
broadband@warwickshire.gov.uk
